Robert Scott, a manufacturer of mops, is the latest company to benefit from Thorworld Industries’ mobile loading platforms. Three platforms have been designed to allow the unloading of goods at ground level; a decision made to improve loading safety, as Robert Scott operations manager, Steven Frazer, explains: “Operators across our sites use mobile conveyors for the unloading of containers. We felt the procedure had room for improvement, and the introduction of mobile loading platforms could eliminate potential safety issues.” Warren Craig, of Loading Bay Service – an agent of Thorworld Industries – helped fulfil Frazer’s requirements: “Now fully installed, the platforms are already improving working safety standards for operatives, while speeding up the unloading process.”
