Makita UK has launched the new DRS780Z 18Vx2 185mm brushless circular saw as part of its LXT range. The cordless DRS780Z has been designed for ease of use. Automatic Torque Drive Technology automatically adjusts the tool’s cutting speed according to load, so that the saw is always cutting at the optimum level. With a brushless motor, the DRS780Z needs minimal maintenance, and friction and wear are reduced. Maximum output is 1,700W with power from two 18V lithium-Ion batteries, interchangeable with other Makita tools. Maximum cutting capacity of 65mm at 0°, and vibration is 2.5m/s².
