M&E Excellence Awards 2021 open to entries!

We’re delighted to announce that the M&E Excellence Awards are back, promising to be bigger and better.

Following their successful launch two years ago, we had a great response in the awards’ inaugural year, culminating in a presentation event at the IMechE in London. We’re keen to build even more momentum this year, after an enforced hiatus in 2020 due to the Covid-19 emergency.

As ever, the aim is to encourage excellence in the fields of maintenance and asset management. We want to sweep away inaccurate perceptions and make sure the true value of this area of activity is recognised, and with it the efforts and successes of you, the professionals in the field.

The awards are open to all companies and individuals engaged in UK manufacturing, including the process and offshore sectors and utilities, as well as academic institutions undertaking collaborative R&D projects. Categories cover a wide range of activity, from maintenance projects to product and process innovation, health and safety, training, and Employer of the Year.

For 2021 we’ve added three new categories: Sustainability and Environmental Impact; Software as a Solutions; and Young Professional of the Year. All submissions are automatically entered for the overall Maintenance & Engineering Excellence Award.

All entries submitted in 2020 will be carried over for consideration this year. If you entered last year and wish to update your entry, you are welcome to do so.

For details, including rules of entry and criteria for each category, see our website: www.maintenanceandengineering.com/2020/01/21/get-set-for-the-2021-me-excellence-awards/

The closing date is Friday 25th June 2021. Remember, If your company has been involved in an innovative or transformative project – we want to hear about it!
