Test and measurement market leader HBM is pleased to announce the arrival of its new KFU series of strain gauges, through its collaboration with Japanese manufacturer Kyowa Electronic Instruments. Suitable for structural tests at exceptionally high temperatures of up to 350°C, the gauges are pre-wired and come equipped with a 1m long protection cable. Typical applications include strain measurements in autoclaves or environments with steam. Available in grid lengths of 2mm and 5mm as well as in different versions, the KFU strain gauges are also offered with temperature responses matched to steel, austenitic steel, and aluminium.
