This summer the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to London. This year’s event promises to bring the thrill of all-electric street racing, while showcasing some of the most advanced e-mobility technology in the world. The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is more than just a race. It is the test-bed for innovative electromobility technologies, helping drive progress to a more sustainable future. Many of the electric vehicle and charging technologies pioneered in Formula E are helping to usher in a new era of e-mobility.

London’s race weekend sees the final two races in the ninth season of the sport. The track features both indoor and outdoor elements, weaving through the ExCeL exhibition centre and around the historical heartland of the Royal Docklands. Four of the last eight races in the capital have seen a British winner, and with the outcome deciding the final season standings, a nail-biting finish can be expected.

There is also plenty to explore at the E-Prix away from the track, with performances and live music taking place throughout the weekend, while budding racers can test their skills in the simulator.

ABB is giving Maintenance & Engineering readers the opportunity to win two tickets to either round 15 or 16 of the London E-Prix at the London ExCeL. Tickets will provide access to a full race day over the weekend of the 29th (round 15) and 30th (round 16) of July, including a practice session, qualifying, and the race itself.

To enter the competition, simply visit www.abb-formula-e-competition.co.uk to answer the qualifying question and submit your details. The competition closes on 30th June 2023, and entrants must be residents of the United Kingdom (exc. Northern Ireland).
